Selling is easy. We have lawyers, so naturally we have more rules than we need, plus all the disclaimers. You will find these on the Reservation Form. But here, in a nutshell, is the important part:

Reservations: Download and print out the Reservation Form (additional forms always available at the Stonehouse Restaurant Hostess Stand) as well as online, read it, complete the form and sign it. Make sure you include all the information requested.

Submit as follows:

Submit during the Sunday Market: drop off on the Patio into the box provided Drop-off anytime: into the box provided at the Hostess Stand, Stonehouse Restaurant, 107 Sacramento St. at Broad, Nevada City, CA 95959

Mail: Stonehouse Restaurant, P.O. Box 1628, Nevada City, CA 95959 NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE! The Sunday Market does not keep mid-week office hours.

Hours: Move-in 7:30am to 8:30am. General public 9am to 2pm. Move-out AFTER 2pm.

Booths: Two sizes. LARGE is approximately 10’ x 10’—a canopy can be brought in and must be secured. SMALL is approximately 7’ x 7’. Bring your own tables for display, and chairs. Only large items like furniture may be displayed on the ground. Booths will be assigned, and are first-come, first-served. There is no charge for booth reservations. There is no electrical or garbage service so please be sure to clean up your booth at the end.

Move-in/Move-out: Drive in, unload, drive out, and please park your car as far away as possible to allow parking spaces for attendees. Set up. Keep all items inside your booth area. SELLERS CANNOT BEGIN PACKING UP UNTIL 2 PM AND MUST BE MOVED OUT BY 3:30 PM. Pack up and be ready to load BEFORE you bring in your vehicle. Please take your boxes and garbage, including cigarette butts, with you. There may be a fine if garbage is not packed up and future participation in the Sunday Market may be denied.

Merchandise: We encourage antiques, art, collectibles, bygones, retro, vintage, original and gently used clothing. Estate sale treasures, children’s things, décor items, lamps, pots and pans, dishes, glasses, electronics, computer stuff, games, sports equipment, jewelry, purses, furniture, deluxe junk and the cream of garage sale stuff. Feel free to leave the real junk at home.

No-No’s: This is a family market designed for “stuff”, therefore we reserve the right to prohibit or limit certain items. No-No’s include guns and ammunition, any materials inappropriate for children, or materials that may be considered offensive to various groups of people. In any dispute, management’s judgment will prevail. If a seller is asked to leave, we ask that you do it quietly. New merchandise for sale—that is, suitable for a retail store--will be limited and must be pre-approved by management. Because this is a “stuff” market, services are not encouraged and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

That’s it! Bring family, friends or neighbors and make a fun day of it.
